We are proud to introduce the Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy Community Advisory Board (LGMD CAB) — an independent, global panel of experienced patient advocates working in partnership with industry, clinicians, and researchers.
Our mission is simple: to ensure that the lived experience of people with LGMD directly informs the development of new therapies, clinical studies, and care strategies.
By engaging early and meaningfully with those who design and conduct research, we help make studies more relevant, feasible, and impactful.
Over the years, the LGMD CAB has collaborated with numerous partners across biotech, pharma, and academia — offering insight that shapes trial design, improves patient engagement, and supports ethical, patient-centred progress.
This new website serves as our public hub: a place to share updates, highlight collaborations, and invite new partners who value the voices behind the data.
