We are pleased to announce the start of a new educational video series for the LGMD community.
Filming has now begun for a series of videos that will help explain key aspects of gene therapy from a patient perspective. The aim is to make complex scientific information more accessible for people living with Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy (LGMD), their families, caregivers and the wider LGMD community.
The videos are presented by Kaya, who brings a unique combination of personal and academic insight. Kaya is able to connect the science behind these developments with the questions, concerns and hopes that patients and families may have. This video series will become part of a broader educational brochure offering clear explanations, practical insights and essential need-to-know information about gene therapy in the context of Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy.
