It highlights the importance of meaningful dialogue between patient communities and companies, and the role that independent CABs can play in bringing forward the real experiences, unmet needs, and perspectives of people living with rare diseases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the LGMD CAB, this publication reflects the importance of ensuring that the voices of people affected by LGMD are represented in discussions that may help shape future research, development, and care. We are proud to have contributed to a growing body of work that supports patient engagement as an essential and constructive part of health product development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We would like to thank the authors and all partners involved in this important work.
